Titan Raises Cup!

In his second season as Chicago Blackhawks assistant coach, Titan Alum, Mike Haviland will have his name on the Stanley Cup! In a hard fought battle with the Philadelphia Flyers, the Chicago Blackhawks pulled off an impressive 4-3 win in overtime to conclude the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs.  Mike Haviland is brother to George Haviland, the Director of Hockey Operations for the Jr. Titans East and West programs as well as the President and CEO of Ice World Consulting. George works with the Hockey Department Manager of Ice Chalet, Frank Mitrano, to ensure the players and programs are always on the right track.

With some of the highest ratings in recent years for this past Stanley Cup final, hockey appears to be heading in the right direction.  Give your child the opportunity to participate in the wonderful sport that is ice hockey!  The Palos Verdes Ice Chalet offers many different hockey programs for all ages, ranging from beginner to advanced. Check the rinks' website (www.palosverdesicechalet.com) to stay up to date with all their activities, promotions, and coupons!

Do not let this opportunity pass you by! Hockey is a great sport for kids to learn both athletic and life skills as well as develop life long friendships. For more information on hockey at Ice Chalet and the Jr. Titans West program, contact Frank Mitrano at 310-541-6630 or mitranohs@cox.net.

*ATTENTION*

On Sunday June 27, 2010 at 2:00p, the Palos Verdes Ice Chalet will be holding a free 30-minute semi-private group lesson for all beginning skaters looking to experience hockey.  The coaches of Mitrano Hockey School will show the basic skating skills necessary for your child to enter the world of hockey.
